WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Stable earnings £500,000-3,000,000 in post-tax profit

    • We like real earnings and cash flows and do not believe in adjusted EBITDA.

  • The company should be based in the UK or Scandinavia

    • We want to understand the language and don’t want to travel to the other side of the world.

  • Proven profitability of at least 15% on post-tax profit in the past 5 years

    • We’re skeptical of forecasts.
    • Turnarounds happen all the time, but we don’t think we can do it.

  • 20%+ return on capital

    • We want to use the cash flows to grow and not to replace existing machinery or inventory.

  • Industry leader with a moat that does not compete on price

    • The company needs a simple and easy-to-understand business model.

  • We want to be majority owners but are flexible on structure

    • Our preferred holding period is forever.

  • We can’t replace management, and we’re looking for the right people to grow with us.

  • An offering price. We don’t want to waste your or our time.
