BEST FINANCIAL MARKETS PODCAST: WE STUDY BILLIONAIRES

On We Study Billionaires, the world’s largest stock investing podcast with more than 180 million downloads, hosts Stig, Preston, William, Clay, and Kyle interview and study famous financial billionaires, including Warren Buffett and Howard Marks, and they teach you what they learn and how you can apply their investment strategies in the stock market.

What was once a standalone show, has been combined with a new show, Bitcoin Fundamentals, from The Investor’s Podcast Network. These operate as two independent shows, with different hosts, but are available to listeners in the same podcast feed. The latest addition to the We Study Billionaires podcast feed is Richer, Wiser, Happier, hosted by William Green.

Although the podcast started by Stig and Preston studying Buffett nearly exclusively, they have done a great job over the years of transitioning the show’s coverage to more relevant, timely, and actionable ideas. Many value investing and Buffett aficionados are not able to pivot to new ideas, strategies, or concepts, such as Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, and even macroeconomics, the way Stig, Preston, William, Clay, and Kyle have. In fact, to cover the wide range of topics evolving in the financial world, the team at TIP Network is now putting out four times the content, with three episodes per week — two We Study Billionaires episodes, one Bitcoin Fundamentals episode, and occasional Richer, Wiser, Happier episode.

In addition to the wide variety of topics covered and the world-class guests, the show’s audio and editing quality are top-notch which makes for a pleasant audio experience.

David Stein, host of the Money For the Rest of Us podcast, describes what he’s building with his podcast and community by saying, “you manage your own money. So do I. Let’s share notes and take this financial journey together.” Stein does a great job of covering a wide range of topics, from those that are “need-to-know” to others that are more timely, all from a perspective that is understandable for beginners and also educational for those a bit more advanced. The Money For the Rest of Us podcast typically doesn’t have guests, nevertheless, Stein does a great job teaching how money works, how to invest it, and how to live without worrying about it, with just himself and a mic.

That’s because Dave Ramsey is arguably one of the most well-known financial experts in the world. Along with others, Ramsey hosts his podcast, The Dave Ramsey Show, which is part of a plethora of other Ramsey Solutions podcasts.

What is a bit unique about The Dave Ramsey Show is twofold — first, his show is nearly exclusively a call-in radio show where the content is driven from listener’s of the show and Dave answers their questions, and second, he releases nearly three hours of content, every single weekday. This is broken down into three, one-hour episodes per day.

As the show has gone on, Dave has started to remove himself a bit from the conversations, turning to other hosts to lead the show, but Dave is still involved from time to time. CHOOSING THE BEST FINANCE PODCASTS

Here are the factors that were taken into consideration in choosing the best of the best. The first is, of course, the quality of the content. Meaning, how much value is the show providing its listeners? Second is how the host(s) is/are, how the guest(s) is/are, and what level their caliber is. Finally, how is the listening experience? Is the audio high-quality with good editing, minimal background noise, and without any side conversations or dead space?
